What is the Complete Count Committee?
The City of Dallas’ Complete Count Committee is focusing on increasing awareness about the Census to motivate residents to respond. The CCC is divided into four subcommittees (media, partnerships, fundraising, and hard-to-count) that are focused on work to reach hard to count areas, generating sources of funding, lending their expertise and relationships, and creating collaborative opportunities.

Pauline Medrano, Chair
The objective of the Media Subcommittee is to raise awareness about the Census effort, promote the Citywide Census weekend event (March 27-28, 2020) and to circulate messaging to allay concerns about filling out the Census. The Media Subcommittee will also create outreach and awareness opportunities through the Census Bureau’s non-response follow up operation (May 13 - July 24, 2020).
The objective of the Partnerships Committee is to identify, connect, and engage with organizations who will aid in awareness and outreach for the City of Dallas Census 2020 effort leading up to Census Day (April 1, 2020) and through the Non-response Follow-up Operation (April 2020 – July 2020).
George Tang, Chair
As the census count is a substantial undertaking, the CCC will raise funds to support its efforts. The objective of the fundraising subcommittee is to prepare a fundraising budget and collaborate with Dallas County and surrounding cities to promote and fund raise for Census efforts.
The objective of the HTC is to increase participation rates among hard-to-count populations leading up to Census Day (April 1, 2020) and through the Nonresponse Follow-up Operation (April 2020 – July 2020).
