Hard to Count Populations
The U.S. Census Bureau defines Hard to Count as
those individuals who are hard to locate, hard to
contact, hard to persuade, or hard to interview.
As part of our efforts to obtain a full count in the upcoming census, we have organized a Hard-to-Count Committee to increase outreach to these hard-to-count populations.
ensuring that organizations across the City of Dallas develop and implement outreach campaigns in HTC zip codes and communities;
ensuring that organizations coordinate their outreach efforts with each other and the City of Dallas Complete Count Committee;
building strategic, organizational alliances across the City of Dallas, with various demographic groups;
recruiting and training volunteers to assist with education and outreach.
