Following are things the Census Bureau will and will not do.
The Census Bureau will never ask you for:
● Your Social Security number
● Anything on behalf of a political party
● Your bank account or credit card numbers
● Money or donations
The Census Bureau will:
● Send census takers to households that haven’t completed the census. These employees can be identified by their photo ID badge with a U.S. Department of Commerce watermark and an expiration date.
